Christmas Cake

I had great fun this morning with Danny and John making this Christmas cake, Danny and John made the mixture and John baked it and delicately covered it with the icing, Danny and I made the characters (and he was sneaking bits of the icing when he thought I wasn't looking). I feel a little sad that Ellie was at play group and didn't help us make it but only a little because I know seeing her face tomorrow will be worth its weight in gold. Even though John is Buddhist and I am Jewish I am very pleased to be celebrating Christmas for the good will and family time, it makes a nice change from working and routine.

Hello

So I have been thinking about putting together a Blog for a while, but have been put off by the thought that no one may actually be interested in what I have to say and that it might be somewhat arrogant to assume that they would be.

However, it is soon to be the start of a new year, a new job and if my facebook group is anything to go by people may actually be interested in reading what I write.

So with this in mind I figured I would do a Blog and if people feel like reading it great, and if not then at least it will be a good cathartic space for me!
